June Advanced-Level Seminar


Narrative Traditions in the Bible and Beyond

Monday, June 23 – Thursday, June 26, 2008
10:00 am – 1:00 pm
This four-day seminar taught by Rabbi David Silber is geared to advanced-level students.
An extended analysis of the Amalek narratives and legal sections as they appear in the Torah, Samuel, and Megillat Esther. We will explore the relationships between these texts as well as their connection to Rabbinic traditions and liturgy.
