The Elga Stulman Summer Programs

Elga Stulman was a student at Drisha for more than ten years, and served on its Board of Directors. Her love of learning was an inspiration. Her passion to enable others to learn is her legacy.

The Elga Stulman Summer Programs in June and July provide an intense experience in text study, attracting women of all ages and backgrounds from across the United States and worldwide, including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Israel, and Mexico. The institutes also serve asp rimer for other full-time programs at Drisha.

Courses are offered at two levels: Level I and Yesodot are for students with limited experience working with classical Jewish texts. Level II courses are for students with the ability to read and understand texts in Hebrew or Aramaic.

Part-time continuing education courses are offered concurrent with the Summer Institutes. The schedule for these part-time courses is posted in the spring.

Registration: Download and print out registration forms as indicated by links above, and fax to: (212) 595-0679. Alternatively, contact the Drisha office by email.

Financial Aid: Financial aid is available through the Tova and Norman Bulow Scholarship Fund, the Lily Friedman Memorial Fund, the Rose Gelb Memorial Scholarship, and the Mireet and Joseph Wolf Scholarship. Please download financial addendum or contact the Drisha office.

Course Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel classes. Full refunds will be given to those registered for cancelled classes.
