Continuing Education  ||  Open Beit Midrash  ||  Daf Yomi

Learn part-time, day or evening, at Drisha in the Joseph Straus School of Continuing Education. There are fall, spring, and summer semesters, and most courses meet weekly for 1 ½ hours. Selected courses are open to women and men. In some instances, class time is provided to prepare source material in havruta (partner learning), enabling students to gain a stronger command and insight into the text.

The Continuing Education School features the Yesodot skill-building program. Designed to help students build skills in Hebrew language and Jewish text study, Yesodot has empowered and enriched the lives of many Drisha students, who can now prepare a dvar Torah, study with their children, appreciate the beauty of prayer, and understand the Torah reading at synagogue (Yesodot classes are noted “Y” in the course listings).
